With a thorough grounding in the essentials of traditional construction established,

working to exhibition themes provided an ideal gateway to developing the

aesthetic and intellectual considerations which stimulate the way I work now.

The least promising themes initially (where do curators get them from?) often inspired

the most surprisingly diverse resolutions (more worrying, where do I get them from!).
